Facilities - Hostel :-
The University offers excellent residential accommodation for its students. Four hostel complexes including an International Sports Hostel that accommodates more than 1000 students are provided. Modern amenities are available with attached rest rooms, geysers and exhaust fans. The hostels come with both AC and non-AC rooms. Indoor recreational facilities like table tennis, badminton, Gymnasium, other indoor games are also available. Each hostel is provided with dining hall, uninterrupted water supply, reading hall, round the clock internet connection, continuous medical and transport facilities. Canteen and fast food centers are open from 7 a.m to 10p.m. Buses are arranged for hostel residents to visit the city on Sundays and other holidays. All hostel students can also avail free, limited laundry services. Hostel facilities are earmarked in such a way, that the students can feel homely and pursue their studies in serene atmosphere. The library is open till 8 p.m. everyday and book exhibitions are regularly conducted in the campus. There are five hostels in the University campus: Venus Hostel for Men with option for double / triple / quadruple on sharing basis. Gemini Hostel for Men with option for bath attached rooms / triple rooms. Galaxy Hostel for Men with option for bath attached rooms / triple rooms and air conditioned rooms / dormitory with eight beds. Kasturba Hostel for women on triple sharing basis with option for bath attached rooms. Susan hostel for women for double / triple / quadruple with option for bath attached and air conditioned rooms. Information on hostel charges and vacancy position are available at the Hostel office.
